NEW COVID-19 OUTDOOR STUDIO CLASS GUIDELINES

THIS IS MY FIRST TIME TAKING AN OUTDOOR STUDIO CLASS AT ROAM. IS THERE ANY PAPERWORK I NEED TO FILL OUT?

Yes. Before taking an Outdoor Studio class at ROAM all students [both new and returning] must agree to an updated COVID-19 waiver form online. After this you're good to go.

WHAT IS THE PROTOCOL FOR TAKING AN OUTDOOR STUDIO CLASS AT ROAM?

Students will only be admitted if they have reserved a space in a designated class. No drop-ins allowed. For busier class times please make sure to sign up well in advance.

WHAT SANITIZING PRECAUTIONS IS ROAM TAKING?

Touch-less hand sanitizers are placed at both the entrance as well as inside
the bathroom. All students must sanitize their hands before starting class. Students will check in with front desk staff [non-contact check-in] and then proceed to your private pod.

HOW WILL ROAM ADHERE TO SOCIAL DISTANCING GUIDELINES?

We will schedule class size in accordance with the recommendations of the CDC as well as the LA County Public Health Department. Eight feet social distancing will be maintained in all areas. As such only small number of students will be allowed to participate in these special Outdoor classes.

HOW WILL THESE 8FT SOCIAL DISTANCING GUIDELINES BE MAINTAINED?

ROAM adheres to all Covid-19 Guidelines as set forth by the LA County Department of Public Health. As of 10/26/20 Appendix L of Guidelines for Health and Fitness Studios states that if practitioners are spaced 8 feet apart masks are not required [but still recommended]. The only time students are permitted to leave their respective pods is to use the restroom facility. If using the restroom facility masks must be placed back on if they were removed.

WHAT IS ROAM's POLICY ON WEARING MASKS?

Students will be required to wear a mask when leaving their car and walking to the studio as well as in all common areas. Masks should remain on until the student has reached their individual pod and only optionally taken off for the duration of the class. As soon as the class is done please put your mask back on [if you removed it] and leave on until you return to your vehicle.

WHAT ARE ROAM's PROTOCOLS FOR CLEANING AND SANITIZING THE STUDIO?

ROAM takes the health and safety of students, staff and teachers very seriously. As such the lobby area, restroom [toilet, sink and floor] as well as all door knobs and common handles will be thoroughly cleaned with I-MAX 99.5% IA [Isopropyl Alcohol] Based Disinfectant after every single class. This is one of the strongest products on the market! Our hardwood pods have been sealed with the highest quality Varathane which creates a protective cover and stops bacteria from being absorbed into the wood. After every class the pods are cleaned with an all-natural chemical free plant based wood cleaner.

WILL ROAM STILL RENT MATS AND SUPPLY PROPS?

Unfortunately, until the dust of the current COVID-19 pandemic has settled all Outdoor Studio students are required to bring their own mats, blocks, blankets etc. Using your own personal gear will greatly reduce any potential spread of the virus. ROAM will have all necessary yoga accessories for sale at a reduced price if you need anything! Because ROAM is a prop heavy studio please bring all props to every class!

WHAT ABOUT WATER?

CDC has recommended that [at least for now] all public water stations and sources be discontinued. Please feel free to bring your own water bottles and water.

LAST, BUT NOT LEAST WHAT IS ROAM's OUTDOOR CLASS CANCELATION POLICY?

Because of the popularity of ROAM's Outdoor Classes if a participant cancels a reservation less than 12 hours before the scheduled Outdoor Class they will be charged for that class if they purchased a Single Class. If you are a Monthly Unlimited Member and cancel your reservation less than 12 hours before the scheduled class your credit card on file will be charged an $8 Outdoor Class Cancelation Fee. Thank you for your help and understanding with this policy!
